Robert H. Zuchowski, 92, of West Reading, passed away February 19, 2026 in the Reading Hospital where he was a patient.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Wallace S. Zuchowski, Sr. and Wanda S. (Wilczynski) Zuchowski. He was the husband of the late Claire R. (Adam) Zuchowski who passed away March 12, 2011. They celebrated 54 years of marriage prior to her passing.
A 1951 graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School, Bob worked at Western Electric, later AT&T for 31 years before retiring. After retirement he worked for the Gallman Funeral Home and Klee Funeral Home. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War aboard the USS Valley Forge.
Bob was a very talented musician playing the clarinet and saxophone for the Chessman and the Gents. He was an avid Phila Eagles and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
He is survived by his son – Gary D. Zuchowski and was predeceased by his brother – Wallace S. Zuchowski, Jr.
